Our institution successfully hosted a Continuing Medical Education (CME) seminar on 18th June 2026 on AYUSH intervention in Eye Disease, sponsored by Hamdard Laboratories (Medicine Division) New Delhi. CME featured distinguished Guests, Faculty and students. The event commenced with traditional lamp lighting, followed by an address from our Principal, Dr Ramakanta Sharma and a keynote speech by Dr Amal Chandra Kataki, Medical Director PIMC , USTM.

Presentation on Dry Eye disease in the digital age:
Dr. Queency Evangaline Sutnga offered an Ayurvedic perspective on dry eye disease.

Therapeutic Practice: Mr. Khagen Kalita demonstrated Jatru Trataka – eye relaxation exercises.

Presentation on Vision in the digital age and Renal Wellness in modern lifestyle:
Dr. Rizwan Ahmed discussed AYUSH innovations for managing Dry Eye condition and kidney disorders.

The CME concluded with official unveiling of Hamdard products and a formal vote of thanks.
