Ri-Bhoi, Meghalaya | 13th September 2026:

The Department of Prasuti Tantra & Streeroga, IA Ayurvedic Medical College, USTM,  organized a Free Health Camp on Asrigdara (Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding) from 7th to 12th September 2026 at UHAN, OPD Block. The six-day camp aimed to provide accessible healthcare services to women suffering from abnormal uterine bleeding and to create awareness regarding timely diagnosis and management of menstrual and reproductive health problems.

A total of 44 patients were registered during the camp. Detailed clinical evaluation and necessary investigations were carried out, and appropriate management was provided based on individual clinical requirements. Patients were managed through both OPD and IPD services, wherever required.

The camp successfully provided consultation, investigations, and treatment to women affected by Dysfunctional Uterine Bleeding and served as a meaningful initiative towards promoting women’s reproductive health in the community.
