An enriching academic program focusing on Rachana Sharir was successfully conducted at IA Ayurvedic Medical College (IAMC), at NKC, Auditorium, USTM Non 18/03/2026 which bringing together eminent dignitaries, faculty members, and enthusiastic students under one roof.
The event began with an inspiring thought:
“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.”
The program reflected this spirit by emphasizing the importance of exploring ancient Ayurvedic knowledge through deep study and intellectual collaboration.

The occasion was graced by several eminent personalities:

- Principal (In-charge), IAMC: Dr. Dilip Kumar Goswami
- Guest Speaker: Sri Pralhad D.S., Professor of Rachana Sharir, Prasanna College of Ayurveda, Belthangady, Karnataka
- Professor & HOD (Rachana Sharir), IAMC: Dr. Dhirendranath Deka
All dignitaries were warmly welcomed, making the gathering both prestigious and inspiring.
The program commenced with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, accompanied by Dhanwantari Vandana, symbolizing the removal of ignorance and the illumination of knowledge.
Dr. Dhirendranath Deka, Professor and HOD of Rachana Sharir, delivered the welcome address, highlighting the significance of anatomical knowledge (Sharir Rachana) as the foundation of Ayurvedic science.
The Chief Guest, Dr. R. K. Sharma, delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging students to pursue knowledge with dedication and discipline. His words emphasized the role of education in shaping a better future.

The highlight of the event was the insightful lecture by Sri Pralhad D.S., an eminent scholar in the field of Rachana Sharir. His session provided deep insights into the Applicability of Marma Sharir in the Management of Mausculo-skeletal Disorders, its understanding, greatly enriching the academic perspective of students and faculty alike.
The Guest Speaker was felicitated by the dignitaries as a token of respect and appreciation for his valuable contributions to Ayurveda and education.
The program concluded with a brief address by the Principal (i/c), Dr. Dilip Kumar Goswami, who appreciated the efforts of the organizing team and the participation of students.
The formal Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr. Anil Kumar Sarma, Adviser, IAMC, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, speakers, faculty members, and students for making the event a grand success.
