The Department of Panchakarma, IA Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, USTM, Meghalaya organized a one week Kati Basti Health Camp from 25th to 31st of August, 2026 at the hospital premises for patients suffering from low back pain and related musculoskeletal complaints.

During the camp, patients were registered and clinically assessed by the medical team and provided Kati basti therapy under appropriate supervision. A total of 165 patients benefited from the camp including 92 male and 73 female patients.

The programme served as an initiative to promote awareness of Panchakarma based Ayurvedic management of low back pain and related musculoskeletal disorders and strengthen the delivery of patient-centered Ayurvedic healthcare services at I.A. Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital, USTM.
